Stop Mice From Moving In

It happens every season – when you move out of your RV, the mice move in. Slam the door on rodent invasion, safely and effectively, with Diamond Kote’s New Mouse Shield Pro undercoating. Mouse Shield combines a durable, automotive grade undercoating with a highly concentrated, all-natural ingredient that drives mice away.
Mice cause the most damage by chewing their way into your RV and through its wiring. Mouse Shield is a, non-greasy, non-sticky barrier that smells and tastes repulsive to rodents, but is pleasant to humans. It actually seals the most common mice entry points, stopping them at the pass.

Facts:

  • RVs and motor homes sit vacant for long periods of time between trips. This makes these spaces inviting for rodents and insects looking to nest.
  • Damage caused by mice and rodents is one of the top five insurance claims for RVs. Chewing through wiring, interior and piping can cause costly damages.
  • Mice can carry diseases such as Hantavirus, a dangerous airborn disease carried by deer mice that can be inhaled while cleaning up mouse droppings.
  • Rodents can enter your vehicle through existing holes that are meant for piping, water drainage, sewage or wiring and cause havoc in short periods of time.

At Centerline RV, we offer a number of repairs that are guaranteed to keep your RV running like new. Choose from the following services below:

Brake Repairs: A fully-functioning brake system is essential tot he safety of you and your passengers. Over time, friction and heat against the hydraulic brake lines in your RV can potentially wear down the brake shoes, brake pads, calipers, brake rotors, and other braking components located in your vehicle. The sign of a bad set of breaks is often obvious with squeaking, squealing or grinding. If you experience any of the above signs or symptoms of bad brakes, like unusual squealing or grinding noises, contact us immediately to have your RV inspected before making another trip.

Wheel Alignments: A wheel alignment consists of adjusting the wheels of your vehicle so that all wheels are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the ground. Not only will this keep you on all four's while driving, but wheel alignment is critical to the health of your vehicle as well. A wheel alignment will keep your vehicle running safely and efficiently by promoting reduced tire wear, better gas mileage, and safer driving conditions. If your vehicle starts veering to one direction while driving, or you feel vibrations in the steering wheel at higher speeds, your wheels might not be where they should.

Exhaust Repairs: The exhaust system is responsible for collecting and directing harmful emissions away from the vehicle, reducing the amount of pollutants released into the environment, and minimizing engine exhaust noise and force. If you start seeing thick black smoke, or smelling excessive fumes, there could be a crack in the muffler causing harmful emissions to enter the atmosphere and your vehicle.

Engine Repairs: The rate of compression in a diesel engine is more than three times that of a regular gasoline engine system, meaning they're a little noisier than a regular engine and also making them harder to diagnose. However, if the sounds coming from your engine are significantly louder than usual, it might be a good idea to have it checked. A diesel engine running at lower RPMs or a hard-to-start engine are signs of low fuel pressure, but these signs may also be symptoms of an insufficient fuel supply or poor fuel quality.

Steering and Suspension Repairs: Remaining in control of your vehicle while driving not only provides comfort, but is essential to road safety. If at any time your RV begins to feel shaky, unsteady or you have trouble steering the vehicle in the direction it's intended to go, your steering system likely needs to be realigned.
